Oakleigh (Bathroom Giveaway!)

Set on 10 acres in Gisborne South, this project was built for The Block’s 2022 Tree Change season and went on to achieve a record-breaking result at auction.
This project began as something special — a bathroom giveaway to give back to our community. Amanda was the lucky winner, and her story inspired us to transform her tired, outdated bathroom into a space she could finally love.
What was once a cramped and dated room is now a light-filled retreat. We introduced a new layout to improve flow, added a floating vanity, frameless glass shower, and modern fixtures, and finished it with warm tiles and soft lighting for a spa-like feel.
For Amanda, the bathroom renovation was more than new tiles and tapware — it was a fresh start, a functional space for everyday living, and a gift that showed how design can truly change the way you feel at home.
A giveaway with heart, turned into a bathroom that Amanda will enjoy for years to come.Outdoors, the property transforms into a lifestyle retreat — complete with a pool, sauna, multi-sport court, putting green, mini-golf, and landscaped entertaining areas. It’s a design that blends contemporary architecture with family-friendly fun on a grand scale.
The result? A home that didn’t just impress the judges — it set a new standard, selling for $5.66 million and delivering the biggest profit in Block history.
